Position
- Reports to the President of the Board.
Company
- A Montreal-based apparel retailer.
- Approximately 150 stores across Quebec.
- More than 1,000 employees.
- Public company with revenues of more than $150 million.
Responsibilities:
- The creation and implementation, with Board approval,
of a long-term strategic plan.
- Assume responsibility of day-to-day operations.
- Manage communications between the Board and the Management
team.
- Spokesperson of the Company, its stockholders and
its institutional investors.
- Build his/her Management team.
- Strategic positioning of the Company.
Profile:
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience, ideally acquired
in the retail/fashion industry with a strong emphasis on merchandizing,
branding and purchasing.
- High level of professionalism and diplomacy, goal
oriented, very analytical with excellent interpersonal and communications
skills.
- Organized, structured, with a high level of flexibility
and leadership plus strong coaching and management abilities.
- Perfectly bilingual (written and spoken French and
English).
