Position

  • Reports to the President of the Board.

Company

  • A Montreal-based apparel retailer.
  • Approximately 150 stores across Quebec.
  • More than 1,000 employees.
  • Public company with revenues of more than $150 million.

Responsibilities:

  • The creation and implementation, with Board approval, of a long-term strategic plan.
  • Assume responsibility of day-to-day operations.
  • Manage communications between the Board and the Management team.
  • Spokesperson of the Company, its stockholders and its institutional investors.
  • Build his/her Management team.
  • Strategic positioning of the Company.

Profile:

  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience, ideally acquired in the retail/fashion industry with a strong emphasis on merchandizing, branding and purchasing.
  • High level of professionalism and diplomacy, goal oriented, very analytical with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Organized, structured, with a high level of flexibility and leadership plus strong coaching and management abilities.
  • Perfectly bilingual (written and spoken French and English).
