Position
- Reports to the President.

- Products are sold and marketed to the end-consumer
directly or through insurance brokers, travel agents, consultants and
third party administrators.
- Administers over $300 million in premiums, covering
more than 3 million policyholders travelling worldwide.
- Offers medical case management, cost containment, assistance
and claims services throughout the world.
- Privately owned company specializing in group and
international student insurance and offers several dozen group and individual
products geared toward the travel and specialized health insurance industry.
- Founded in 1984, its head office is located in Lennoxville,
Quebec and has a staff of 400 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and revenue growth by focusing on targets
and expanding client relationships.
- Develop and implement an overall marketing and sales
strategy for all its products, including pricing and customer service
policies and advertising programs.
- Developing marketing action plans that clearly define
objectives, goals, schedules and assignments to implement and achieve
targeted opportunities.
- Serving as a strategic leader and resource for sales
personnel and the senior management team, ensuring that the overall
product and brand vision are properly reflected in sales, channel and
public relations strategies and tactics.
- Developing segment and vertical lead and revenue generation
programs, direct marketing campaigns and advertising programs.
- Providing vision and direction to Sales and Product
Managers in the development and implementation of product launches as
well as in the coordination of trade shows and sales events.
- Providing direct sales support to international customers
through the development and execution of presentations to high level
contacts.
- Providing leadership to Product Managers and Research
Analyst, ensuring the provision of
in-depth market, industry and competitive analysis and positioning.
- Together with Product Managers, keeping abreast of
market, industry, competitive analysis and positioning activities.
- Ensuring regular analyses of customer satisfaction
surveys, consumer trends, etc.
- Providing leadership to the Communications Director
for all marketing programs both internally and externally.
- Overseeing outside vendor relationships where necessary.
- Developing an annual marketing budget based on overall
needs and estimated costs; monitoring budget and delivery dates for
marketing programs worldwide.
- Managing post-mortem review process, submitting strengths/weaknesses
and suggestions for refinement of marketing initiatives.
