A
Researcher with over 12 years experience in the Executive Search
industry, Ms. Johnson, CHRP, has worked with some of the major Recruiting
firms in Montreal. On the basis of that experience, r2lj was launched
in 2000 as a research company that assists Recruiters in the identification
process of qualified candidates.
R2lj offers research expertise, on a contract basis, to fulfill
executive management positions for your Montreal-based assignments as
well as for your national and international needs.
Our research process is both methodical and rigorous. The process is defined
in several steps, which are summarized as follows:
Before undertaking the search, we will develop a strategy that
will lead us to the most promising candidates, taking into account characteristics
of the position, specific requirements, organizational context, corporate
goals, expected results, functional relationships, deadlines and other
constraints.
The next step consists in starting a targeted search of potential candidates.
We elaborate, with the client, a research plan that identifies the companies
where potential candidates would ideally be working. Furthermore, we identify
companies that are not to be approached. Potential candidates are identified
from several sources: candidate databank, contacts within the industry,
Internet searches, networking, newspaper advertising and/or direct mailings,
etc.
During the course of the assignment, we will canvas companies where we
believe we can identify the best candidates. Subsequently, we would directly
approach these candidates and measure their level of interest in the position.
The selection of potential candidates is done in three phases:
a preliminary selection is done based on the established selection criteria,
a candidates interest and compensation; phone interviews are then
conducted in order to validate preliminary information and to consolidate
a list of interesting candidates; a formal interview with the Recruiter
serves to elaborate and confirm the information gathered from the preliminary
steps.
At the outcome of the search, we will provide you with a report summarizing
our work and present the short-listed candidates along with phone interview
comments on each finalist in order to facilitate the selection process.
